And here comes another storm.
Tropical Storm Beta formed in the Gulf of Mexico on Friday.
The 22nd storm of the 2020 hurricane season is expected to slowly strengthen into a hurricane Sunday, according to a National Hurricane Center advisory on Saturday.
Currently, Beta is 305 miles east southeast of Corpus Christi, Texas and 245 miles south of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

There are many uncertainties in the intensity forecast. It’s unclear what areas could see direct wind, storm surges and rainfall impacts from the system.
Life-threatening storm surge and hurricane-force winds are possible along portions of the northwestern Gulf Coast.
